Life is full of ups and downs, joy and sorrow, it's full of emotion. Our modern technologically savvy world is full of news- don't get me wrong I'm incredibly grateful to be able to know what my friends are doing around the world to know what their daily lives are about- I face timed with one of my best friends in Cambodia this weekend- I like technology BUT in this season of life it became too much. I was constantly overwhelmed and anxious with my own life and didn't have capacity to be online as well (I'll tell you more of what was happening soon 😊) - again I LOVE meeting new friends and connecting online it's part of my ministry but my soul needed a break and a reset. I'm back now with some new ideas for boundaries with social media.. ONE being to delete social media apps each weekend.. TWO being do not disturb on my phone in the evenings.. THREE having "social media viewing hours" so I don't go on all day. This is all with the GOAL of being more present in my life and more present in conversation online. Life is full and I want to live it abundantly. I'm excited to be able to walk with y'all in new ways in this season 😊 What ways do you like social media? How is it life giving for your soul? What boundaries do you need to put in place? In Grace 💕 Chels
