Noticing God Beside Us

“God is there, right beside us, and we are busy trying to earn our keep… Still Jesus, waits, and when we lift our face, we see those eyes They beam with love and appreciation and a forever commitment. Jesus just waits to meet our eyes and pour into us his eternal affection Do you see Him? Do you see the brilliant smile break over his face – like the sunrise – and know: you are his, and he is crazy about you? And he is just loving you. And there is no need to look anywhere else Heaven has come to earth, and you have a Lover who is dying to be with you. “ Resting Place Read that again please! What stands out to you? Take a moment to take to God about it. Nothing fancy just wherever you are talk to Him, or save it for later and talk to Him while you do dishes or fold laundry or whatever else you need to do. No special way or right way. Just chat with the Father about what came up. What might he be showing you about the pace of your life right now? What feelings come up? There is no condemnation, all is grace, talk to Him, He just wants to be with you. What thoughts? I need to be spending more “proper” time in the Word? In prayer? Or how can I talk to God in my routine? How can I practice His presence while I wash dishes? How can I cultivate that inner solitude while my kids are screaming at me, or while I want to scream at them? How can I turn my heart back to God. I invite you to notice friend where is your heart? Notice how you feel. Notice your thoughts. Talk to God about it all – He is there and loves you so. He wants to hear. Talk to Him. I invite you to practice the presence of God while you go about your day – just by saying “God I am here in your presence as I wash dishes”. God I feel so tired, what is happening in my heart? God I feel so guilty from yelling, help me in my weakness. God, I am your beloved, help me believe and live this. Do breath prayer – in God I am yours, out I belong to you.
